apple tree

for the roof, project i want to plant an apple tree
however it takes a while, for a little apple tree, it could take up to 3 or 4 years for it to mature and for the apples to be ready to eat
to start the tree, it should start indoors first... you put the seed on a wet papel towel, and fold it in square
this should be in the fridge, and needs to be moist
when the seed starts to show sprouts then u can plant it
u can start and put it in a pot with soil until the plant gets bigger and the sprouts spread more, and then it could be kept outside
it should always be kept near sunlight
inthe soil, the seeds should be buried between two holes and watered regularly
when the tree is still little, a glass jar should cover it, to keep animals and insects away
on the roof, it should be kept away from mice
thats pretty much it
over ...years...it will grow but its just important to keep the soil moist and for there to be sunlight

f. Generalize: what should we eat?

Its so easy to say we should all eat healthy, like balanced meals (protein, breads, vegetable etc.), but that wouldn't be realistic
i think yes, we should all eat somewhat healthy for our bodies but we also shouldn't restrict what we like and think taste good
the question "what should we eat" shouldn't just reflect on the physical aspect, but as well the mental
if someone loves chocolate.,...they should eat their chocolate
its not a sin to sometimes eat the food thats "not healthy"

Healthy Food...

e. What foods seem healthier to you? IF you had infinite time and infinite skill and infinite money...what would you three day menu be?

Well im very simple with food.

Morning:
yogurt w/ granola
class of some juice
after half hour of eating a cup of coffee with milk & sugar (not sweetener...SUGAR)

Lunch:
salad with good dressing
but if im not in the mood for salad...a "tostado" of jam and cheese
a class of PEACH JUICE , and a banana
after half hour of lunch... i would drink Mate

Dinner:
rice rice rice rice
a sort of salad to throw on the rice like tomatoe, with peppers?
MILANESA
class of water

2 hours after dinner... Mate

Noticeable physical reaction

d. What foods create a noticeable physical reaction for you?

Whenever i eat chinese food i feel like shit. I feel tired after, where i don't want to do anything i just want to lay down and look up at the ceiling. ACtually, chinese food is a good siesta meal. I used to have it...not alot...but maybe one every three weeks or once a month. I can't eat it now, i dont like the idea of eating something that makes me feel bloated, gross, and tired. I feel bad consuming something like chinese food, even if it tastes good... i rather eat something that makes me feel good and at the same time tastes good. THe reason for that physical reaction chinese food has on me, is because the carbs. i dont know if i like carbs. i migt hate carbs. but i like pasta so i dont know.

when i think of food....

C. One paragraph about how you see food, "when you think of food, what comes to mind?"

Well many things come up when i first think about food,... the first thing i think about is argentina because i really liked eating the food there. I think of when i used to go to asados with friends, or with my boyfriend's family and how good the food was there. I was never really a meat eater before argentina, but there steak is incorporated so deeply in their meals , and the meat there is healthy, you actually feel good after eating here. Where here, its not as good..or at least in my opinion. So i think about that when i think of food. argentina.

making my rice

so this assignment should've been for 2/6

i made rice... because i really like rice
rice is actually one of my favorite meals
its good, u can have have it plain or with sauces... in bolivia all i ate was rice and charqui.

so i let water boil , i used twice the amount of water as rice
then after it boiled i pour the rice in, i covered the pot and just let it be
because, thats the way you do it , i think?
so then after 15 minutes or maybe a little less, i looked in the pot and it was beautifulll
it was fluffy
and white!
and pure!
i love rice.

then i put salt, but just a little because i have a big fear of high cholestoral in my future
so a little of salt, and some stirring but not really
and that was my dinner
it tasted like air, but air you can chew on
and i dont like putting sauces on it, so its really plain
it tastes sort of like what i would imagine clouds to taste like in bits of pieces if it was chewable.
i had my bowl of rice with a cup of mango juice
from this brand , its called "looza" i love it!
k
the end!
